There are lots of fun things happening on May 5th, also known as Cinco de Mayo, the holiday where Mexico declared its independence from Spain. Here in Valley Stream the library will host a Cinco de Mayo celebration on Saturday, May 7th from 2p - 3p. Registration is required.
If you don't feel like cooking, stop by Burrito Monster, I'm not enticed by the title either, to pick up a Fajita by the pound filled with steak, chicken or shrimp.
