Ice Skating On Long Island

I found a wonderful family outing for you, not me, to send out the New Year this weekend.  Why not go ice skating?  While the nearest skating rink is either Freeport or Great Neck, it's sure to be a fun filled activity for all.  Why won't I go?  One reason is because I can barely ice skate let alone hold up a child while trying to skate.  I know my limits.
