Personal Stylist & $200 Gift Card Giveaway

Are you a stay-at-home mom heading back to work this Fall?  A recent college grad gearing up for job interviews?  Or, maybe you recently lost weight and are ready for a new look?  Green Acres Mall, which houses some of the country’s leading fashion names such as Macy’s, Kohl’s, Express, Forever 21, H&M and Fashion to Figure, is launching a Fall Wardrobe Contest where 10 winners will each receive an opportunity to meet with a fashion stylist to get fashion tips and advice for a new Fall wardrobe, plus a $200 gift card to help pay for the new looks.

Here’s how the contest works:  In a 400-600 word essay, simply tell Green Acres Mall why you should win a Fall wardrobe session with a personal stylist and a $200 Green Acres Mall gift card.  Entries will be judged by a committee based on originality, creativity and best expressed need for fashion assistance. 

Email your entry, along with your name, mailing address, home and cell phone numbers, birth date and email address to info@greenacresmallonline.com, with the subject line “Fall Wardrobe Stylist Session Essay Contest” and you will automatically be entered to win.  Interested participants can also mail their typed entries to: Green Acres Mall Fall Wardrobe Stylist Session Essay Contest, 2034 Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream, New York 11581, or drop them off at the Green Acres Mall Customer Service Desk.

The contest ends at 9:30 PM EST on September 10, 2012.  All mailed in entries must be postmarked by September 10, 2012 and received by September 17, 2012.  Limit one entry per person. 

The 10 highest scoring entries will win and entrants will be contacted by phone to set up their fashion stylist session atGreen Acres Mall.  Appointments with the fashion stylist will be available on October 4 - 7 and October 11 – 14, 2012, at either 10 AM – 1:30 PM or 2:30 – 6:00 PM.  Winners who are unable to schedule a session during the designated times and dates will automatically forfeit their prize.    

Starting August 6, 2012, more information on the contest, entry forms, and official contest rules, will be available at Green Acres Mall, or at the Green Acres Mall Customer Service Desk, located by Chase Bank. Participation is open only to legal residents of New York who are at least 18 years old.

Shopping for the Holidays - Your Look

I must admit that ever since I left the marketing offices of Time Warner almost 5 years ago, I have been wearing jeans just about everyday.  During the summer is where I feel the most feminine while wearing cute sundresses.  My wardrobe these days consists of cocktail dresses and jeans.  For me, there is very little cute and casual which is essential for every woman, mom, working mom, stay-at-home-mom, or empty nester.  Now that the season of holiday shopping is upon us, why not look cute and casual while doing it?  I think women should put a little more effort into their daily wardrobe and not use kids as an excuse for not putting on cute clothing.  Besides, if you catch baby vomit fast enough it won't leave a stain or smell.
