I really love that I started this blog. I am learning so much about what's going on in the community by attending so many events as well as visiting local businesses and reading the newspaper. I mean, by just attending the Memorial Day Parade, I was given a flyer from Grace Thunderettes Show Squad announcing their summer classes. Who knew? Not only that, this Saturday, June 11th at Grace United Methodist Church, they will be competiting in a qualifying competition for the AAU Jr. Olympics which will be held this August in New Orleans! How exciting is that? Stay tuned for more information on their summer program for girls ages 5 - 18.
