Now through Friday, I will be announcing the groups and individuals performing at the Valley Stream Community Fest taking place this Saturday, September 29th from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. The event will be held on Rockaway Avenue between Merrick Blvd. and Sunrise Highway. There will be a host of events which can be found on the official Valley Stream Community Fest website (I think) closer to the actual day.
Valley Stream Mom is coordinating the festivities in the Children's Area and boy do we have a lineup for you! Please come on out and support our first activity!
Demo: 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Through the use of fun props, children learn clear educational goals about how their body works and how to take care of it. KID-FIT Long Island will also raffle off a KID-FIT t-shirt to those that join their email list before and during the demonstration. The drawing will be held immediately after the demonstration. The performance begins at 11:30 a.m.
