I can't recommend this art class/studio for children enough to you. Creative Art Space for Kids is a kid-friendly environment where the art instructors show genuine interest in developing the talents of budding little artists. It's inviting, educational, warm, I could go on and on. When you walk in, there's a drum that every kid beats coming or going, a piano that is tuned to perfection. There's also a mini art gallery displaying the creative works of art of students both young and old. It's just an artistic environment for everyone to save once you enter the building. I love this place. My daughter is thriving in the environment by experimenting with pastels, oils, canvass, clay, etc. She's only 6. Go.
Tips:
It's easier to turn onto Atlantic Ave. from Sunrise Highway from either direction. Parking is usually available in front of the studio. There's also parking on the first street to the right just past the studio. You can even hit the "I need 5 free minutes" button on the parking meter. Does Valley Stream have that option? Love that option.
