You're invited to the Grand Opening ceremony of the newly renovated Arthur J. Hendrickson Park Pool Complex located at East Merrick Road & South Franklin Avenue in Valley Stream. The event will take place this Saturday June 9th @ 9:30 a.m.

News you can Use:
*You do not need to purchase a separate park pass if you purchase a pool pass. The park/pool pass gives you access to all of Hendrickson Park.
*You do not need a park pass for any of the other parks in Valley Stream. This does not apply to Valley Stream State Park which is run by the state of New York and requires a separate fee if entering with a vehicle.
*You also do NOT need a park or pool pass to use the Mini Golf Course.

Children's Swim Lessons
(Click here for my feedback from last year's swim lessons) If you're looking for personalized 1:1 attention for any swim classes aside from the Guppy program, this isn't for you. Last year there was about 15 kids to two instructors. However, the group program did help my daughter over here fear of getting her face wet. She also jumped off of the diving board which was a huge milestone.
