Morning Child Care Available for District 30 Students

I'm new to the whole PTA thing and trying to figure it out, although I think I have, but I truly admire the PTA's at Shaw Avenue and Clear Stream Avenue schools.  I'm sure they have their typical issues but when it comes to doing what's best for the families and children of their communities, they get the job done.

Working parents have it hard.  When the boss says to be at work at 8 a.m. but your child's school doesn't begin until 9 a.m. or even 8:30 a.m. what do you do?  You do what you have to do.  Call a neighbor.  Hire a morning sitter.  Find a solution which is what the parents of District 30 did which is to partner with a nearby church to take care of their children prior to school.  Good job.
