What A Night!

Congratulations to the Valley Stream Library and Village Hall for sponsoring such a wonderful event for the children of Valley Stream.  The library was at full capacity and I truly felt sorry for the people who sat in the "quiet" area of the library when over 50 kids came pouring into the area for a group shot.  They took it all in stride and even lifted their head from their studies to admire the awesome costumes from the Villages smallest residents.

After the story, treats, and costume parade in the library, the children were ushered into Village Hall where they were met by Mayor Ed Fare, Trustee Vincent Grasso, and  Trustee Dermond Thomas who each handed the kids more candy.  Once the children enjoyed juice and these amazing chocolate cookies (yes I took one), the children went outside for a hay ride.  It was fun, yet a little wild, and very entertaining.  Oh, and the best part was it was FREE!  Now that's a price I can always enjoy.
