"Wear it Again" Costume Party A Huge Success!

The 1st Annual "Wear it Again" Costume Party hosted this weekend was a huge success!  I know I said this already on Facebook and Twitter, but a heartfelt thanks goes out to Strong Side Studios for it's wonderful rental space.  The dance studio was a perfect place for all of the costumes children to run around and dance and just have a good time.  Olive It...donated the smores goody bags which were the cutest things ever!  Unfortunately the owner was unable to stay but we still appreciate the donation and look forward to working with you again.

How about that table filled with marshmallow treats drizzled in chocolate?  The center table which greeted guests the moment the elevator opened was the mastermind of Felisha's Creations.  I think the table was so pretty that people were afraid to touch the table.  A few kids kindly asked me if they could take a cupcake which I thought was so cute.

Did you get a chance to meet Miss Long Island and Miss Long Island Teen?  Weren't they adorable?  They had a blast with the kids and even started a conga line!  How fun was that?

The face painting, glitter tattoos, cookie decorating, and distribution of Wendy's gift certificates, and other goodies were coordinated by the lovely teen ladies from Sparkle Empowerment Program for Girls.  The Memorial JH, Central, and South High School students came with various talents and it showed that evening.

I am truly looking forward to next year's event and if you would like to become a sponsor next year or for the next event, please send us an email to valleystreammom@gmail.com.
