Baha'i Faith of Nassau County will be holding it's annual Arts Festival on Saturday, July 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event is absolutely free.
The Arts Festival is performance oriented, largely with singers and musicians. There will also be some poetry reading and an open mic from time to time.
For children there will be face painting and origami lessons. These activities will take place during the day, so it's best to come in the morning or towards the early afternoon according to Marie McNair, one of the event coordinators. Of course, the music will also be appropriate for children. It is really a family-oriented event as a service to the community for the purpose of offering a day of enjoyment and fun, especially when people are looking for things to do that do not cost anything at all.
People are welcome to drop in at any time.
